Temporal Clustering by Affinity Propagation (TCAP)
Time series of gene expression display temporal relations that are missed in most cluster analyses; such as time delays and anti-correlation. Temporal Clustering by Affinity Propagation (TCAP) was introduced to find such relations. TCAP2 extends this in a number of important ways; implementing alternative exact metrics, allowing gene expression time series to be clustered across multiple experiments, assigning empirical P-values to clusters and highlighting transcription factors (TFs) in cluster expression plots. TCAP2 is a significant improvement on TCAP, allowing temporal relations to be understood in the context of different environmental conditions.
